BSG Employees Support Komen Foundation's Annual Race for the Cure®

SAN ANTONIO - BSG was a proud sponsor and participant of San Antonio's 13th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure held May 1, at the Alamodome.
Decked out in their "Team BSG Cares" gear 61 employees joined forces alongside nearly 30,000 participants at this year's event, all united to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
"BSG has been a long time supporter of this important cause," said John Reistrup, Senior Vice President of Marketing at BSG.  "We are thrilled that more than 50% of our employees were able to participate in this year's run/walk and contribute $4,225 for breast cancer research and treatment," added Reistrup.  "Many more employees donate to the Komen Foundation through our frequent employee-driven bake sale fundraisers held at BSG's corporate headquarters, which the company matches all monies raised dollar for dollar."
